A great product deserves a presentation to match. Custom jewellery packaging — with your logo, your colours and your finishes — turns a simple box into an extension of your brand and one of the most cost-effective marketing tools there is. This guide walks you through personalising your packaging step by step.
Why personalise your packaging?
- Reinforces your identity: your logo travels with every piece and stays in the customer’s home.
- Raises perceived value: a branded box makes the jewellery look — and feel — worth more.
- Builds loyalty: a considered unboxing experience drives repeat orders and recommendations.
Personalisation techniques
There are several ways to bring your brand to your packaging:
- Hot foil stamping: the premium finish par excellence, in gold, silver or copper foil.
- Colour printing: ideal for multi-colour logos or illustrations.
- Custom ribbons and bows: an affordable detail that makes a big impression.
- Bespoke interior and colour: line the box in your brand colour.
What you can personalise
Almost all of your packaging can carry your brand: our boxes by collection, our cases by collection and even our bags. Choose the range that fits your style and add your logo.
Minimum orders and lead times
Personalisation usually requires a minimum quantity per design, which offsets the cost of printing. Plan your orders ahead — especially for campaigns like Christmas — to secure stock and delivery times.
Which personalisation technique to choose
Hot foil stamping is the standard in jewellery packaging: a metal die presses your logo onto the surface using coloured foil (gold, silver, black or white), leaving a crisp finish with a very subtle relief. It works well on lined board, faux leather and textured paper, and it pays off as soon as you reorder, because the die is reused.
On fabrics — suede or organza pouches — screen printing behaves better: the ink bonds to the weave without creating relief. If you want something more discreet, blind embossing (relief with no ink) feels elegant to the touch, although it loses legibility with highly detailed logos.
How to prepare your logo
Always send your logo as a vector file (AI, EPS, PDF or SVG). A small JPG has to be redrawn and never comes out as sharp. Simplify gradients and hairlines: within a stamping area of just a few centimetres, strokes thinner than 0.3 mm tend to close up.
You will receive a proof for approval before stamping. Personalisation costs a one-off 30 €, not per order, and lead time with a logo is 21 days, against 2-5 days for standard packaging in Spain. If you are unsure about the finish, order a single sample of the luxury boxes or boxes you have in mind first.
Conclusion
Personalising your packaging is one of the highest-return investments a jewellery brand can make. Want a bespoke design? Tell us about your project and we’ll help you create the perfect packaging for your brand.
